Experiential Learning: Experience-based learning brings relevance to real life learning. Students are given the opportunity to focus on a task of significance, develop the skill through investigation, actual use of tools, learn to improve from failures and repetitions, and work on various real-life models. Some of the skills students can learn from are App development, Hydroponics, Gardening, Photography, Craft, Robotics, Cooking, Best out of waste and many more.
Specific Activities: To enhance an all-round development of the child we have introduced a holistic based activity programme. Students can opt to join different activity hubs such as the as Debate Society , TEDed, General knowledge Club, Eco Club, Public Speaking club, Art Society, Drama Society, Arabic culture club, Music performances group, School Choir, Personality development club, Dress designing club, Video editing and Graphic designing club, Community Service Programme, advertising club and many more.
Teachers act as moderators, addressing individual questions and concerns and stepping in to help the students learn from the experience and enjoy the activities. The progress of each student is recorded and evaluated at the end of the term. This is communicated in the progress report of each student.
Al Diyafah High School strives to develop in its students a sense of integrity and responsibility towards their natural environment. To foster the same, we curate and participate in competitions, drives and seminars to encourage students to envision a green, sustainable, and renewable Al Diyafah community. It is a year-round endeavor where every day is focused on reminding students to connect with their nature and give back to the nature what we reap!
Al Diyafah High School LLC was founded in September 1982, by Late Mrs. Winnie D’Cunha. It started as a Nursery with only 2 children in a small villa located on Al Diyafah Street, in Dubai. That’s how it got its name.
